Crispy Teriyaki Tofu
For The Tofu
- 1 block tofu extra-firm & cubed
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- cooking spray/oil for air fryer
For The Teriyaki Sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp ginger grated
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
For The Teriyaki Sauce
- In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
- In a separate bowl, mix water and cornstarch until dissolved. Add this mixture to the saucepan and continue stirring until the sauce thickens. Once thickened, remove from heat and set aside.
For The Tofu
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, lightly coat tofu cubes with cornstarch.
