Blueberry Cheesecake Smoothie

Craving a slice of cheesecake, then eat some cheesecake! but really, here we don’t hold back and we give into our cravings. That doesn’t take away from the deliciousness of this smoothie though! What I love is that it’s packed with antioxidants from those blueberries and protein from Greek yogurt. Feel free to add your own protein to this too for double doses of protein!

What You’ll Need

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-3 ice cubes (optional, for extra chill)

Blend Like a Pro

  1. Freeze the Blueberries: Pro tip! Pop those blueberries in the freezer beforehand for an extra frosty and thick smoothie.
  2. Balance the Creaminess: Adjust the quantities of Greek yogurt and cream cheese to your liking. More cream cheese for that tangy cheesecake zing, or more yogurt for extra creaminess!
  3. Sweetness Level: Taste as you blend and customize the sweetness with honey or maple syrup. It’s all about finding that sweet spot!
  4. Texture Play: Want it thicker? Toss in some ice cubes. Creamier? Add a ripe banana or a splash of extra milk.

Get Creative!

The beauty of smoothies – they can easily be customized. Add a handful of spinach for a nutrient boost without altering the taste. Or throw in a scoop of protein powder to power up your day!

Garnish Galore

Don’t skip the garnish! Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top for that authentic cheesecake crust experience. It’s the little things that make all the difference! This smoothie can easily be a breakfast alternative, a post-workout refuel, or a midnight snack that is completely wholesome.
